I write fantasy where the light doesn’t
always win.
Stories about power, loyalty, and what remains when everything begins to break.
my stories
I write characters who carry both darkness and light. I write characters who make the wrong decisions for the wrong reasons.
My stories are set in extensive, detailed, and lore-filled worlds. The stories are built around lore, politics, religion, ideologies and much more. Romance is a given, but what drives my stories forward is the morality of my characters in a broken world. Or rather, the lack of it.
There are no clean answers in my stories.
No clear line between what is right and what is necessary, only consequences and the weight they leave behind.
My current series, Song of Sun and Moon, begins with the end.
Gillyad will fall.
The question is not whether, but what will be lost.
Visual Design
The world doesn’t end with the text; I build it further.
I build it with symbols, composition, in every detail you hold in your hand when you grasp the final product.
Designing my covers, illustrating the characters, chapter headers, chapter pages and maps is just another part of the story. It is, in some ways, to tell the same tale through a different medium.
Every part of the book you hold is a part of me, created by me, and I truly hope you feel what I felt when I created it.
Audiobook Narration
Recording my own work changes it.
The voice carries what the text sometimes holds back. Hesitation, tension, the things that live between the lines. It brings the story together, it allows me to live it in ways I didn't think possible.
Some scenes shift when they’re spoken aloud.
And sometimes they break me more than they break my characters.
Behind the Books
Behind the books is what became of the girl who couldn't stop living in her own head. The girl who escaped to worlds of fantasy when the world grew dark.
I have been writing since I learned how to hold a pen. My stories have always been dark, as well as my early drawings. Horrible deaths, broken hearts, forbidden love. The elements have always been there, to my mother's horror.
And now I get to share what I create with you, with my readers. Seeing my books being read and loved by so many people is something I never had the courage to dream about. Yet here I am. I have found my voice, my style, my genre.
I will always be drawn to the dark, but there is light and hope in my stories as well. They just come at a cost.
I write for those who know what it is like when darkness is the only place where you can find comfort. To those who know that darkness sometimes is the only way to endure.
