Thirty years after the fall of Gillyad, Nim survives in the shadows as an assassin with nothing left to lose. The past is something she’s buried, along with the person she used to be.

But when a powerful merchant hires her to track down a missing rebel contact, Nim is forced onto a path she has spent decades avoiding. The rebellion she never cared about may hold the answers she seeks, but also the truths she cannot face.
